Dwarf Open Bookcases, c. 1825
Elegant and fine pair of George IV circa 1825 neoclassical English regency dwarf open bookcases; the ‘plum pudding’ mahogany raised tops with thickly gadrooned edges above flat frieze and beaded border surmounting two shelf open compartment with full-length exquisitely carved palmette capped fluted volute ‘corbels’ either side on flat frieze plinth bases. Interior depth is 8.28″; interior width 20.5″.
Condition: Good. Wear commensurate with age and use.
