Elegant circa 1835 late English Regency period neoclassical bergere or armchair having mahogany frame and leather upholstery; the curved scrolled crestrail joining stiles continuing into acanthus-capped arms and concave supports around D-shaped slip-seat on unusual turned-and-foliate carved front legs and splayed rear all on original brass castors. Arm height 25.5″.
